Cas Tiny has won the 2011 New England Open Grouse Championship and has now been added to our growing list of Champions.
HiRollins Home Town Hero is Warren Parrott’s newest up and coming star. Watch for him this fall in the derby stakes across the north east!
Larry Craig’s exciting derby Schwenksville Reggie wins the National Open Derby of the Year!
Congratulations to Larry Craig and his fine young pointer male Schwenksville Reggie for winning the 2010/2011 U.S. Complete Open Derby of the Year award!
Reggie racked up wins all season from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. He is sure to make his mark as a shooting dog in years to come.
We are proud to announce that we have won the 2010/2011 U.S. Complete Association Handler of the Year award! This is the second consecutive year we have won this award.
Well it’s summer training season. Seems like it was just mid trial season! Things are really moving along here at midnight kennel. We are busy with our summer gundog training program. Several new gun dogs are here this year and all are benefiting from our capable staff led by Art Bruno and new comer Mike Nemshick.
He is destined to be a big time winner for sure. Several old friends stopped by this summer including Leo Plenski from Florida, the Romeo family from North Carolina and Chris Rarich from New York.
Chris’s dog Urban’s Wicked Tina, along with Cas Tiny, owned by Jim Castagna and Blackhawks Headliner
owned by Ted Smith should be contenders this fall.
Finally we want to acknowledge Dave Murphy for once again letting us train dogs on his incredible property. Dave is a master cover producer for grouse and woodcock and this year we have the grounds chalked full of young pheasants. It should be one heck of a great summer!
Sincerely,
Robert J. Ecker Jr. & Staff
